Day January 26th, 1648.
Marriage record between groom Giovanni Di Fulco, son of the deceased Francesco and Mattea, and bride Angela La Jacona, daughter of the living Potito (?) and Vita, from that city.
Celebrating priest was Don Francesco Lo Piscopo, witnesses were Matteo Di Crina and Luca Marchisiello.

The bride’s father should be Filippo not Potito.

Sì: Pho con un '/' sopra la 'h' è l'abbreviazione di Filippo.
Sicura che lo sposo sia Giovanni e non Giuseppe?

G-to me, it’s definitely Giuseppe in the index, but looks like Giovanni in the record. But the index may be wrong???

Thanks so much, Erudita, Danip and mmogno. I was actually looking for a Giuseppe Di Fulco who married Angela. Do not know her maiden name. I saw Giuseppe in the index also. So hard to read and it could very well be a different couple. Thanks again.

@mmogno, I am not sure who the above record is for. Does it have something to do with Giuseppe and Angela?

In the index, Mattia’s surname appears as Giarusso, index is image 286 of 682

@Mary

This is the marriage record for the parents of the groom in the 1648 marriage record you initially posted the link to in this thread.
